Diamond Vogel has an opening for a 1st Shift Quality Control Technician in our Liquid Paint Production plant in Orange City, IA. 1st shift hours range from 6:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Thursday. A half shift is worked on Fridays. Primary duties include routine testing of raw materials and finished goods in direct support of the paint production team. This job is also color-related, so a detailed eye for color is important.
On-the-job training will develop the following technical skills:
· Perform routine tests with minimal supervision
· Maintain accurate records of all results and samples
· Communicate observations, test procedures, and related data verbally and in written form with team members
· Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area
The starting pay for this position is $22.00 per hour.
